There is something really special about this album. It's refreshing and different in the best of ways.
sndtrk's sample selection is varied and eclectic and while the arrangements are minimal, it doesn't sound like it. The drums are abrasive and unpredictable and just a joy to listen to. The overall production is gritty but slick - such a lovely contradiction.
This feels like "nu-boom bap", if there was such a thing? Underrated! Paul WH
